creating sacred altars for sacred space,  creating/adapting rituals ceremonies to enhance
and deepen the spiritual growth healing process.

Central Virginia area, has hosted several Labyrinth Walks for World Peace. Pamela is a

trained lay-pastoral care giver at Trinity Episcopal Church for the last 8 years. Pamela has
completed Level II in Reiki training and is a Reiki practitioner at
Healing Arts Yoga Center,
in Fredericksburg, VA.

When not working on labyrinths or assisting others with spiritual growth Pamela enjoys
spending time out in nature whether it is gardening, hiking or spending time at the Potomac
or Rappahannock Rivers or at the beach playing in the surf.  Pamela is obtaining an
extensive healing rock and crystal collection to accompany her ever expanding angel
collection.  Pamela also enjoys playing her djembe and hoop drums and taking lots of
pictures on her digital camera where ever she goes.
Pamela is dedicated to assisting others on their spiritual journey as they follow their
individualized path to enlightenment.  Pamela recognizes that as we are all collectively on a
spiritual journey, individually that there are many venues, methods or paths that one can
use  for the spiritual growth process.   As stated earlier Pamela is a peace activist using the
labyrinth and prayer as the primary tools in accomplishing her goals.   It is Pamela's belief
and understanding that peace has to begin within each individual, once we begin to
experience and feel peace, love and joy within ourselves is only then that we can radiate
that peace, love and joy out into the outer world to be shared with others.  Pamela's purpose
is to assist others in finding that inner peace, love and joy within, to demonstrate and assist
others in spreading the peace, love and joy worldwide.

Pamela has begun to be spiritually awakened on her journey to wholeness and peace, in this
process she has learned that
we are all one with God, Divine Source, Spirit, Great Spirit or
what ever name  you choose for God,
we  are one and there is no separation between us
and Source
.   Pamela has reached this understanding in studying a little bit about each of
the major religions of the world and when looking at all the belief systems  of the world
religions there are a few common themes: all have a God or some other name for God,
regardless of the name  used God is the same God for all of them.  All of the world religions
believe in Love, and want the peace that dwells within and dwells in the physical world.
Each religion may have a different way in which to obtain these things, yet the end result is
the same.

Pamela completed her first year of ministerial studies at
The New Seminary (TNS) in June of
2008, studies will continue in the fall of 2009 and God willing will be ordained as an
Interfaith Minister in June of 2010.  Pamela's studies include the world's religions and will
take a specialized focus in rituals, ceremonies, spiritual counseling, and spiritual direction
termed by Pamela as Spiritual Empowerment.

Pamela incorporates several different ways to reach the still small voice within because one
way or one path doesn't always work for her.  What works for Pamela today may make her
bored tomorrow, so she uses a variety of methods and tools to keep connected to the
presence of source each moment of each day.  Methods/tools that Pamela uses and
embraces are, prayer, meditation, centering prayer, labyrinths, mandalas (visual prayers
with sacred geometry), creating sacred spaces where ever she goes, creating and using
sacred rituals with labyrinths and prayer, music(various vibrational sounds), color, energy
work and aroma therapy with incenses and essential oils.  At any given time, a combination
of the items listed above are in current use and practice.  All of these practices nurture and
heal the mind, body and soul and when all aspects of ourselves experience healing we begin
to experience peace, love and joy and when we can consciously feel that from within we
unconsciously and consciously can radiate those same feelings into the physical world.

Original Artwork by Pamela Bowles 2006

These  are mandalas reflecting my inner light, the 1st mandala on the left began just as
the center line with the light ball in the center and then it evolved to the spiral with it, the
2nd mandala on the right uses that same line and burst of light for each "spoke of the
wheel, which has 9 spokes, how I ended up with 9 I don't know Divine Spirit gave me both
of these images to share.

Composed while listening to a recording that contained this phrase:

"There is a light that shines deep inside, let it shine on, let the
love of God shine on, there is a light deep inside, let it shine on."

Recording is track 2 from the CD that came with the book The Mandala Healing Workbook, by

World Alliance of
Interfaith Clergy which
was held in Ocean
Grove, NJ, Oct. 10 -

labyrinth is the
pathway for Wings of
Wisdom.  It was
constructed with blue
